Embossing Tacky Shapes

The leaves included in the October kit are cut from red-liner double-sided adhesive sheets. The adhesive is durable enough to stand up to the heat, and you can cut any shape using your favorite die-cut system.

1. Adhere Leaf to Page
Adhere Leaf
Remove the back liner from a leaf, apply it to cardstock, and then remove the top red liner.

2. Apply Embossing Powder
Apply EP
Dip your straw applicator into EP and tap small bits of color over the tacky shape.

TIP: This is also a great way to use the mixed EP pile left from rainbow embossing!

3. Press Powder
Press Powder
Press the powder into the tape with your fingers  to make sure it adheres well.

4. Heat to Emboss
Heat Leaf
Heat the shape to melt the EP. If needed, add more layers of color to cover  bare spots or to add variation. Heat the EP again and then you can sprinkle on more powder where needed.
